harvest4.jpgFun! Family!  Food!  Friends!  These are just a few of the words that come to mind when you think about the Desert Cities Church of Christ’s annual Fall Festival.

harvest3.jpgpumpkinpie3.jpgOn October 18th the members of the Desert Cities Church of Christ enjoyed a celebration of the season at the Mission Hills Marriott.  Young and old alike threw rings, tossed pennies, became rock stars, took target practice, and enjoyed a variety of excellent food.  As usual, the Pumpkin-Pie-Eating Contest did not disappoint.  The petite but pie-loving Michelle Vasquez surprised us all as she took the women’s division.  Chris Jacobson, the reigning eater in the men’s division, commented after receiving his five dollar prize, “It was a piece of cake!”

“My grandkids are having so much fun!” stated Gail Reda.  They weren’t the only ones.  The members of the DCCC as well as family and friends all look forward to this event each year.

A special big “Thank You!” goes out to Mj Saltz for her coordination and hours of hard work to make this event so special.
